This weekend, Churchill Downs will display the world's largest mint julep. A 6-foot-tall acrylic glass filled with Early Times Mint Julep will be located in .. hmmm there's that brand of whiskey again. The world's largest hmmm? How perfectly american.

Ingredients: 1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup sugar 3 tablespoons butter, at room temperature 1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup bourbon 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 egg, at room temperature 3 tablespoons minced fresh mint derby frosting ... ok, if we're only supposed to use one brand of whiskey here, I think I'm going to get angry.
